Hugh Harney, President and Founder
Hugh Harney has over 30 years of security research and system design experience. He was an author on IETF RFCs: 2093, 2094, 4534, 4535, and 3547. His experience includes defining secure negotiation protocols, security attribute calculus, security APIs (Crypto API), and designing security validation engines for crypto (GSAKMP, AEPDS, Windjammer). His work has included taking technology from initial conception in the Internet Research Task Force (IRTF) through proposed standard and the successful commercialization of the standard within several commercial products. Hugh’s talent and vision for transformational security architectures has previously been applied to both commercial and high assurance Government systems.
Carl Muckenhirn, CEO and Founder
Carl Muckenhirn has 34 years of security and systems engineering experience. He has been a key contributor to the research, development, and fielding of a wide range of computer and network technologies primarily focused on enhancing customer mission effectiveness through enhanced access to information provided by comprehensive security solutions. The technical, program, and operational management experience that Carl brings to Axiom is almost unparalleled in the industry. Carl has led multi-million dollar security research and engineering projects and has a well-respected reputation pushing security technology beyond its state of the art.
